Pastor Betty Taylor, attends The Light Church in Rialto California, Pastor Reginald E. Thomas is Founder and Senior Pastor, where she became a member in January 2012, and accepted the office of the Associate Pastor. After her ministry training, she was licensed as a minister of the Gospel on January 6, 2013 to preach, perform and direct other functions of ministry. As she continued her training she was later ordained on January 17, 2016. She continues to preach, teach and pray for God’s people to grow and use the gifts and talents that He has given them.

Betty’s profession as a very successful cosmetologist (hair stylist) for over forty (40) years has afforded Betty innumerable golden opportunities to prayerfully minister Jesus and the Wisdom of God to both men and women in need as they spend time in her chair. Consequently, her customers receive so much more than they bargained for as God’s anointing was displayed through Betty’s hands in addition to God’s grace through her words and deeds of love.

Along with being a Prayer Intercessor, Bible teacher and speaker at women’s conferences, Betty has served in various areas in the Body of Christ, children’s ministry, prayer room, membership support, intercessory prayer and Chairperson of Women’s board. She has also taught men and women how to find their spiritual gifts and how to minister on winning souls to Christ. She is held in high esteem by fellow leaders who have benefitted from having her as an advisor

If asked what is foremost in her heart, Betty would readily reply, “To help women to become whole and complete in the Lord.” She believes God is sending her around the world to minister to the “total woman – spirit, soul and body.”

Betty has three sons, (Damion, Jamil and Jamaal), two daughter-in-laws (Kim and Kristen) and three grandchildren Imara,Kai and Ellie. She makes her home in Riverside, California.
